Here’s what works for me:
- Pick 3–4 dinners that are easy to rotate. Think tacos, pasta, sheet pan veggies, or a slow cooker meal that doubles as leftovers. These are your weeknight heroes—easy to prep, kid-approved, and forgiving if plans shift.

We made it through the week—and that’s worth a little exhale. Friday is low-effort, high-reward. No cooking, no pressure, just a reset and a little fun.
- Fridge clean-out: I do a quick scan for leftovers, expired snacks, and mystery containers. It’s not glamorous, but it sets us up for a fresh start next week.
- No cooking zone: We either order pizza or pull together a snack-style dinner. Cheese, crackers, fruit, maybe a frozen treat. The goal is easy.

Saturday: Errands + Family Time

Sunday is for slowing down and setting up. We rest, recharge, and quietly prep for the week ahead—just enough to make Monday feel less chaotic.
